I just wanted to share the title "Pain: the gift Nobody wants By: Paul Brand and Philip Yancey. It is an amazing compilation of stories about leprosy and how our bodies need pain to allert us when something is wrong or to pay attention to things that need to change. He can get a bit Christian towards the end. If you cannot stomach the 'God is my teacher' Christian approach you may not like it. But if you are openm minded, this man is a genius and has soooo many good things to share. It was full of stories, medical situations (which I find interesting), everything from disecting a brain to hand surgury. (again pretty sure I suck at spelling) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
