i love real posh british accents myself, i have a RP accent myself, although i was brought up in Birmingham all my life. although i have found in many parts of birmingham the stereotype of the accent is not to be found

I like posh accents too, but what's an RP accent? It's probably something really simple but my brain's not working properly as per usual, lol.

RP, is received pronunciation, its like a neutral accent, with no link to a regional area. most often used by newsreaders. its what most people believe the British accent sounds like.....

It is awesme living here, not much to do on the cold days though but it is soo beautiful with the oceans and the mountain scenary. i can't wait to spend my next two years here. everyone here is so friendly and nice, havn't encountered any trouble at all, and seeing as i spend the last 18 years living in a city, then this place is heaven
