hello, usually my 'style' consists of knee legnth-floor flowing, 60ish prints skirts that i usualy get at thrift stores, colorful shirts but not cleavage showing shirts. and i do like my style, but, sometimes i feel like my clothes hide my body. i mean, if you are proud of your boobs and butt and waist and such, i think you should wear what makes you feel s-e-x-y. anyone have any advice on how to sex up my style but still keep it earthy and hippish? i dont want to be lookin like im goin 2 a friggin nightclub or that im from a 50 cent music video, i just want to show off my best assets such as my boobs and ass. thanks!
From many years ago, I recall many actractive tops (to my eyes at least) made from only two bandanas tied together. Last summer, I remember seeing a woman who worked all weekend in an unlined crosched (horrible spelling) top. She seemed comfortable.
How about pairing a flowy skirt with a tight, sexy top... Or some tight bellbottoms with a loose peasant top? In all reality, sexy really is about the way you carry yourself and your attitude, more so than what you are wearing.
i generally like to pair tank-tops with long skirts, or jeans with an interesting top. the tank tops are nice cuz they show a little clevage, are some-what body forming yet very comfortable.
backless halters are always good. i found a bunch at my favorite thrift store from a brand called heartache. apron tops can be sexy. a crocheted bathing suit top is another decent option, at least for casual situations.
In all honesty, I'm the same! I feel most comfortable in my own skin, so why the hell should I cover it all up? It sounds so superficial and stuff, but I could really care less- wear what you feel comfortable in. I'd go with the suggestions from the others girls; backless halters are friggin rad. I personally feel awesome wearing a tank top- they go with flowy skirts, patchwork, bellbottoms, whatever you're wearing. Get a lighter color, and tie-dye or paint it! Hah I have dozens of these things... If you don't want to look trampy, go with one half loose (jeans and a tighter top, or tighter bottoms with a peasant top, like Annie was saying).
Any of you have trouble with the one-size fits all type of clothing. I do I know that. I made myself a few years ago out of corduroy and blue tye dye a backless shirt bc I loved them so much and wanted to show off my tatoo and I could never find any wherever I went that would fit me. I have really big boobs and they tend to be tight as hell on me. LOL just wonderin...
i used to go to a place called loose luceys in charleston and at myrtle beach and the one size dresses they had were always huge on me. looked like i was trying to wrap myself up in a paisley sheet..........
