hello brothers and sisters ,although the names still lazy these days not much chance to be lazy ,why?because im down in waveland at camp second helping, where help is needed! this work is needed these people have nothing, and are living in a polluted destoyed and demolished zone ,some peolpe been saying help is not needed because theres a wendys[one wendys]open in the town, well dig this brothers and sisters not many people down here can afford to eat there or the gas to drive there these people lost everything they own ,most were poor as hell anyway, but feeding is not the main purpose of this camp ,the main thing we are doing is establishing a community center for the community, these are people who are trapped in a fema trailer with nothing and nowhere to go these people need a reason to smile again ,they are hard people and determined to rise again from the ruble, and theres nothing that gives them strentgh more than something to smile about ,we are having talent shows benifit concerts, dances, ocean side drumcircles, the main thing is we just trying to help some broken brothers and sisters, so thats the real deal, and we need help!!

The films I saw of Waveland have really inspired me. It appears it ain't over yet. It seems like there is still plenty of time to earn your Rainbones and a dread or two. Maybe even a set of Terrapin Wings. I like nice wings. A few more knots and i will be free from this whipping post and ready to reinforce.

i keep hearing all about brothers and sisters that are at waveland helping out ,well were working our asses off trying to help some hurting people,so for all those that are lieing there asses off about being here why dont you quit bullshitting and get down here and help out instead of spreading lies, seriously we need more sisters and brothers down here theres a great need for whats going down, yesterday we were represented at a peace protest in d.c. by some great kids on there way down to help and daily everything is really manifesting, but the bottom line is we need help,

what exactly is your mission there? are you serving meals? are you plugged into the distribution system for food, clothing and water like waveland was? give us all a better idea of exactly what you need besides drummers.

why may i ask do you sound so negative here brother? There have been many that have been down there and helped and then there are some of us that can not go and help out because f our own lives,,,,.. i know whats going on down there,,, we have sent several folks from here down there in order to help,,, since we cant go,,,,, gotta say though that your negativity in this post aint gonna get anyone there,,, if its negativity you are manifesting here then why bother to come here n post anything at all......
n for all the others here wondering just what they are doing down where he is at,,, iffin he dont post it,,, i will post our latest email brom a brother thats been down there for a couple months now,,, minus the negativity...

Give a man a fish, feed him for a day, teach a man to fish.......(and he'll sit in a boat drinking beer all day).
Seriously though you should recruit volunteers locally. What's wrong with getting the recipients to help out. I help out with Food not bombs 3 days a week in Albuquerque, and do other volunteer jobs. And i own almost nothing. I don't drive a car. Katrina was caused by global warming, no doubt about it, scientific slam dunk.
Waveland Missisisippi voted over 70% Bush in 2004. You know the whole "cut taxes", cut social programs, deny global warming" deal. Supposedly Republicans are all into this personal responsibility, take care of your own problems mentality. So whats the deal? They can't even help out in the kitchens that are feeding them? Teach them to cut vegetables! Or is that too hard?
Whats the point of recruiting people from around the country to come via gas guzzling global warming vehicles to help people who can't help themselves, even though that is their strong political philosophy?
