Favorite Phish Album?

Why? I do. I agree studio is not live...but its still Phish laying it down. I have lost 90% (100+) of my tapes over time and I only have a few shows on cd. Now I have to take what I can get and be thankful for that.

 

the CD's have their own beautiful quality. i listen to them all the time....especially ghost and round room lately. but live will always be my favorite, thats where it happens....

 

for me its a tie between Junta and Lawn Boy

A pIcture of Nectar. "Gulah Papyrus" rocks. Jusnta is my second favorite.

And I think Farmhouse sucks.

My favorite nowadays is definitely Lawn Boy...I sorta wish I could change my vote.

so many monsters were born off this album. granted it is that one Phish album you see in most peoples cd cases, it is top notch....Piper!? Jibboo?! First Tube!? i think you should give it another chance....

 

Hands up for A Picture of Nectar---my first Phish album and still fave. Also like Hoist. Ah, hell, I like them all!!

LOL those lyrics have fit some situations i've been in so perfectly. especially the stuff about shoes. I like the way the studio version sounds more than most live ones i have heard, it sounds so boomy.. that groove is just so sick. junta is probably my favorite album though. Wasn't there another thread about this?

 

Very possibly...but i THINK it got lost in a site crash.

 

I think it would have to be Picture of Nectar and Lawn boy, though Story of a Ghost is another great one - they're all really amazing - Damn do I want them to get back together!

 

Junta is the best with all those classic songs and i think thier best livephish is 13 when they cover the white album on haloween
