Either they are lying, or people who have generally big (or generally small) penises search out a place to find out how much bigger (or smaller) than average they are. I know I have looked around to try to find out an average. The first girl I ever had sex with had real problems taking my penis, being 6" around, it requires a good amount of forplay, and time easing it in and letting her get used to it. I have no clue, and I don't have a tape measure to find out! From what I've seen, I'm probably a bit longer than the average, with average thickness. I don't really care, for most girls a bunch of thrusting isn't enough to satisfy them, so size definitely isn't #1 on the list.
