While I was in BC at the lake for vacation, I sat alone on the beach after a walk and wrote a little collection of thoughts that entered my head as I walked, and I just wanted to share them.

Ownership. You say that you own that dock over there. No one is allowed to touch it or use it but you. Did you create the would that built it? Then how do you own it? Because you can write your name on it, give some pieces of metal? So now I can not touch it, just because you say that you own it. Well why does it even matter who "owns" it? We are all created equally. So why do you have the power to judge what others can and can not have? You can charge me for food, clothes, shelter. You can charge me for clean water, even for dirt. But why?

Psychopaths and weirdos. Many are labelled those. But are they really?Am I a psychopath? Am I a freak? Am I strange? Or do I just have a way of thinking that you do not understand? Are you even making an effort to understand? Or is it simply easier to label me and continue on your way?

Treasure. So many search for it for their whole life. But treasure is everywhere you look, if you really do look. Most think they are looking for it, when they are looking at it. The look but don't see.

And just a mental sidenote: How does killing a bear make you more manly? Because you can beat something bigger than you? You didn't beat it. you are not stronger than it. A piece of metal (bullet) killed it, not you. If an animal had a gun, it could easily kill you too. It proves nothing. And just because you can kill an innocent creature (For no reason, you killed it simply because it existed and you felt like boosting your ego) does not make you strong. It makes you vain and ignorant.

    Hmm...its so silly isn't it...

We work so hard to own something that isn't even ours in the first place and won't be ours in the last place...

:)I have many, many thoughts like this, I rarely share them, there's not really a lot of people I feel right about sharing it with, maybe with Mike and people from the Coffee Cauldron monthly meetings...

lets see, instinct ! yes, beneath old dusty layers of psychology, science and knowitallness, there is that little spark of beast left. to outwit and conqeur a great animal like a bear is a great feat, and its way more difficult than you think. and, if something is difficult, but you still pull it of, you feel good inside. of course, most hunting going on nowadays is for lazy ass rich capitalists, with high tech super rifles and so on, but i guess the weaker and less animal you become the less is needed to get that rush of victory.

"he who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man"

think about it, i dont understand why so many people want to put themselves above nature, and be some sort of super wise protector of nature, why cant you just let it go as it always has, nature can take care of itself. way better than some smartass with high grades and many meanings but no will. again, i dont know much about you, but a lot of times those who say there is something wrong with anything are "the inteligent people", who has to little to do. if everybody would just stop being so bloody human then there would be no anoying activists letting loose minks from mink farms, just so the whole bunch of them can run of to the nearest chicken farm and eat the whole lot of them. there would be no nuclear bombs, and nature wouldnt have to threaten with self destruction to get rid of us. humans suck ! and i am way of topic, as usual. every thing that is wrong with this world and the nature here can be traced back to humans, its always humans, agent smith is right about one thing, we are virus :D

ownership is an illusion, but we are not the only ones that have such illusions.Ours are more complex and bizarre, but the wolf pees on his side of the trees and rocks surrounding his territory. The birds whistle warnings and peck at their rivals for what space is theirs.

We have a huge and intricate society, with intricate structures of ownership, territory, property. The lone wolf may be chased and killed by the pack if it intrudes.Learn the rules, pay your dues,or you too may be bitten. It may be nonsensical but we have made it real enough.
