how assanine, RELIGION is for the weak minded. i could rant for hours on this. if christianity(i don't know shit about other religions) is what it's said to be then what say you to the hard evidence (fossils, carbon dating, proof of evolution) that totally contradicts what the bible has to say, did someone edit out the part about how on the 8th day god created dinosaurs? i don't doubt that there's something greater than all us out there somewhere, whatever it may be but it blows my mind how steadfastly millions of people will stand by an antiquated idea, based on a book proven time and again to be spilling over with bullshit. can no one think for themselves? don't worry about how someone else tells you you should lead your life, just do what you think is right and just, life's too short to follow someone else's idea of what it should be, make it your own.

 

I don't think theres importance if the bible is true or not...the important thing is that religion is a guiding light for lots of people. some may find religious people unlucky to not find a belief completely of their own, but at least they have their light man. Its all positive.......go see a gospel show in a church, youll see the devotion of the people for their religion, when the music comes...they get it all out and stand up with their hands in the air, shake their heads , its fucked up! The word keep on believin in a song will just bring out the most positive reaction in them, the devotion...Have you found your light?

Some religions are risky though like islam. You risk gettin to bomb yourself, the danger factor is bigger than christianity...Some people have been violent and still are because of religion...but we cant blame it, its the way they experience it. It would be like blaming the psychedelic drug for a bad experience...
