my grament steamer in a long time. I am going to Vegas for a conference on Autism Wednesday and just steamed all my clothes in 5 minutes flat. Those of you who based on my steamer in previous theards think how much time I saved steaming as oppossed to ironing.
I have never once ironed anything of my own free will. My mom used to force me to iron my clothes, but thank god she can no longer do that. I don't even own an iron of any kind. Besides, if I have wrinkled clothing it is easier to pretend to be a transient when I go into town. And I want to look like one because then no one will ask me for change. So no ironing for me, ever.
I'm a slow ironer, so I could use one of those. It would save a lot of panic in the mornings when i have to look presentable for work which...hasn't been that much of a problem lately I guess
They always have them on sale at Macy's. I got a huge one that has racks I can hang my clothes on. It has paid itself off via elimination of drycleaning bills in four months.
actualy he want me to take him to the dry cleaners. His dream is meeting an industrial size steamer. I told him that size doesn't matter and he is industrial to me.
I throw my clothes in the dryer when they are wrinkled, maybe thats why they always look like shit.. but the steamer thing sounds neat, makes me want one than maybe my clothes will look nice for a change..
Speaking of steamers; here's a pic of my rice steamer (I cook vegetables and fish in it too - BONUS).
