i just got back from my grandparents' house with a bunch of fun fabric. my grandmother's been sewing everything (quilts, clothing, etc) for most of her life, and has an amazing collection of fabric-- which she let me go through and take what i want out of! she's got prints going back to the 60's...i'm really excited! i'm thinking patchy skirt and then maybe starting a quilt.
always nice to get finds like that... I once found a clear plastic garbage bag FILLED with yarn... although most of the balls were missing labels and had a couple yards missing from them, but that's ok... I got the whole bag for like $5, it was awesome.
