well ive skipped most of this to give my oppinion.

firstly, to say drugs are good because god made them is like saying violence is good because god made it. for example, a person born is as much gods production as a seedling sprouting. for the person to grow in the world he lives in, if he is to take the mainstream plan, follow his instincts instead of putting in extra effort for a motive concieved by his brain, he will turn evil and it will lead to corruption. for a plant to grow as it is naturally guided, it will produce chemicals. teh cannabis plant protects its survival in a few ways, one of them is to prevent the survival of its enemies, and the other is to ensure maximum gain from its environment and minimum detriment and it does this by producing THC.

as well as that, god produces venom and arsenic, things that kill and cause pain and bring no enlightenment.


on the flipside, drugs do not -bring- englightenment. if you see what some people actually claim is thei englihtenment you would see that it is actually a diverse conclusion developed by the persons brain, which may or may not be true or enlightening to anyone else, but it is to the person.the truth of the enlightnement depends on how true the brain is.

teh drug is the car to enlightenment, but it is not the driver.

few people know how to drive the car, because if they did, there would be people everywhere solving the worlds problems. there would be people everywhere finding ways to make the world a better place, but there are not. there are people sitting in their rooms enlightening themselves but achieving nothing out of it because if you enlighten yourself without respect to the -real-world you are in, your enlightenment will not be -real-.

regardless of whether god is real or not, drugs can be great things, but they very rarely are great in the scheme of things, just to inidividuals. this means that Dan will never experience the goodness of drugs until someone uses them to descover greatness in a way that all man kind can descover and not just for themselves. instead he whitnesses all of the bad things that come out of drugs. this mirrors all the bad things we see come out of humanity, and the fact that very few people advance the world at any one time, to a better place. some peole claim to, some people try but fail, some people make their own world better and some make the lives of others better but few affect the majority of the world.
though drugs can bring profoundly realistic and non spiritual realisations and I believe this is where any spiritual realisations will come from anyway.

like the man who first concieved the DNA structure, who admitted to having been under the mild influence of LSD when he did so.

and then people go off and claim DNA is EVIDENCE for gods existance. well i bet they didnt know that it was first concieved in a human brain while under teh influence of the most notoriously 'reality-breaking' (as it is percieved, not as it is) drug used.

 

I agree with some of what you are saying, at least from my perspective. Drugs serve purposes both good and bad for humans. I have never said anything different at this forum or any other. Man encounters difficulties in todays world and He will encounter them in the much better world to come. In difficult times drugs might not be available(as if they were the answer to our problems, which they are not). Therefore we must on learn to rely on God, each other, and our very selves, if we are to knew the best and truest way. Drugs as they are used today, are predominantly used for escaping from reality, as you mentioned above. We must learn how to run a world without special drugs, before we can run a world with drugs(if such a time will ever come, which it will not). As for crediting LSD with the discovery of DNA, how do we know he wouldn't have discovered it anyway? Things HAVE been discovered without drugs, you know.

Drugs seem to have become a gods in many people's minds. It reminds me of that second Planet Of The Apes movie where the so-called highly evolved ones worshiped the nuclear bomb. (I do not recommend watching any, but the first two Planet Of The Ape movies. The later ones were even bigger stinkers than the first two.) I will remind people of the passage in the Bible, Micah 2; 11 If one, acting on impulse, should make the futile claim: "I pour you wine and strong drink as my prophecy," then he would be the prophet of this people. Now, just because it says, he would be the prophet of this people, does not mean that he is a prophet of good. I am making this clear, as some hooked on drugs might lie to themselves, to justify to themselves the use of drugs. In fact, the Damascus Document states as much. May we find true peace on earth.

It is written somewhere in the Bible(I forget exactly where), The son is not responsible for the father's sins. This could very well be the case involving Bush 43's father, grandfather, and etc. A guy by the name of John Loftus was a guest on Coast to Coast AM for August 18th. If you are able to listen to Coast to Coast on their streamlink service, you should do so. Or you could go to his website. He has some very interesting stuff there. Some of the things Mr. Loftus said was that the older Bush clan was up to their ears in corruption and dealing with the Nazi party. The older Kennedys were also into the dirty deals in cooperation with the Bushs. It was not so much for the sake of the Nazi ideology, but for the sake of making money. They have blind greed and they do not think of later repercussions as they manipulate people, governments, and religions. It is not hard to see how they can be perceived as cold blooded serpents and asps as in the Damascus Document and the Bible. The good news is their cold bloodedness is not necessarily terminal. They are not some supper human line, they are just left over and out of date survivors of Mans bitter past. Their ideals are self-centered, but self-centered no longer flies, when such things as nuclear weapons can be involved. But their ways are now being revealed for what they are, THE WRONG WAYS.

Corrupt leaders are a dime a dozen. They are nothing new to my way of thinking. It is the finer details that I have a problem with, after all they are corrupt leaders. There is also not just one group of them. There is no more one group of them than there is one branch of religion. It will take a combination of individuals being noble and honest in everyday life, and common people organizing and make a difference. The argument over whether a God has something to do with the above activities is a mute one.

Today, in the news Pat Robertson called for the assasination of the leader of Venezuela. I do not see Pat Robertson as fallen, but he is on that path. He is stuck in the ways of the past.

Bush, by allowing the UAE to take control of our 6 of our eastern ports seems to be setting the stage for what I mentioned in the paragraph above. Hay, I just got banned from the Sean Hannity forum. I made it clear that my website was purely a personal not-for-money site, but I was banned for promoting it. I believe that, that is not the only reason, because many others promote sites on his forum. I got on too many peoples' nerves there, by giving my views.
