Hmmm, I like it. It's kind of like my oldest son's name though (Kylan) so I could be partial because of that.

But all in all, I do like the name. I tend to prefer names you don't hear everyday. Unique.

The question is though, do YOU like it? This is your son, and you really should have a say-so in the name. The fact that your girlfriend and her mother have supposedly made this decision, makes me believe that they kind of left you out of it. Am I right?

 

No he doesn't like it. He didn't say he got to help with the naming. I just think it's mean when one parent try to have sole control of a child. You need two parents so that you can have love on both sides. **About the no he doesn't like it; I just try to answer for people because the noisey gene is hard to contain lol.** I could be wrong.

 

I think it's unusual but nice if you like something different. I like more traditional names though so I am not the person to ask. I just always wished my name was like Kathrine or Victoria...something that didn't make me sounds like I was eternally 10 years old.

Ryland sounds a bit like a redneck name to me.
