    and why?

Mine would be either Rock n' Roll High School, because the Ramones star in it, and it's ridiculously corny, Almost Famous about a boy who gets to write an article for Rolling Stone and go on tour with a band (if you haven't seen that movie, I highly recommend it), or Spinal Tap, a mockumentary about a band.

The Maltese Falcon (it is just a classic)
The Manchurian Candidate (the one with Sinatra and commies, not the shitty remake)
    The Life Aquatic
Open Range (a good new western)
Sergio Leone/Clint Eastwood "Man with No Name" series
    The Lorax
O Brother Where Art Thou (nice pick George)
    Signs
    Psycho (again, not the remake)
Black Christmas (one of the few Canadain movies that doesn't involve pot...that I can rememeber)
From the Big-Bang to Tuesday Morning (animated Canadain short)

among many others that I am just way to lazy to think of right now...

Oh, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, that movie is great...Der Untergang too, that one was well done. Almost made me cry in a couple parts, I understand why some people were afraid that it would make people feel sorry for Hitler...
