Well yesterday me and my school band got to play for the little people (elemertly kids) . My friend Kayla and i came up with some saying while we were taken the insrments across the road. here they are; " Your not a true percussionist unless you care for you instrument and even risk hurting it by taking it across the road to play for the little peoples." "You've never had excitment until you've carried a 100 pound instrument across a road in 25 decree weather." "You haven't heared music until you've played it." And my favorite "Never try to roll a 100 pound instrument up a hill out dubbled doors and on to a road." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell, Blue skys from pain. Can you tell a green field From a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil? Do you think you can tell? And did they get you to trade Your heros for ghosts? Hot ashes for trees? Hot air for a cool breeze? Cold comfort for change? And did you exchange A walk on part in the war For a lead role in a cage? How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls Swimming in a fish bowl, Year after year, Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here." - Pink floyd
be nice to her...... bad boys so you're a percussionist? and i must agree moving humongous concert bass drums, timpani, and mallet instruments is a huge pain in the ass. Our school band is playing for the elementary school in a couple weeks.
