Sci-Fi channel rocks somedays! Disney's "TRON" is on as I type this! I'm high, and a geek anyway. Made my day.
Seeing it again, put in mind of another Geek flick. HACKERS. I won't bring up War Games. Oops. I just did. I used to have that Dialer program the kid used in that. "War Dialer" was its name.
Do y'all remember the video game of Tron? I was playing it before I saw the movie, it made allot more sense after I saw the movie! For its time Tron had great special effects. I still enjoy watching it!
Tron is one of my all time favourites. Hey, anything with The Dude in it is good Even by today's standards, Tron excels in imagination. That scene with the wall bikes was breathless. The arcade game was responsible for the reason my pockets were always empty when I was a kid. Does anyone remember the other computer game related movie of the 80s called The Last Starfighter?
I remember The Last Starfighter! As I recall it wasn't a big hit, but I liked it! Robert Preston was great in it, he also played in another one of my favorites, I really don't care for musicals, but I liked him in The Music Man. Shirley Jones also starred in it.
