has anyone ever watch pink floyd:the wall? better yet, has anyone watched it stoned? i know some of you must have. i did for the first time like a few weeks ago. its pretty nuts. like, wow, its confusing at first, but its so like, metaphorical(if thats even a word, it better be). but metaphors always make more sense when your stoned. *sigh* its so sad, too, i almost cried. because its so painfully true. like, its really sad when they show all the buildings taking over the world, and cutting off the flower. :( and the whole 'anoter brick in the wall', its like the govt. is just using us to build something. and the masks that the school kids wear, scared me when i first got a glimpse of it! i swear i had nightmares that night i seen it, because i couldnt get all of the disturbing pictures out of my head. some peopel say this movie is ovverated, but i really dig it. its very different.

    okay, thats enough. :)

in the song when it says look into the sky

its pretty boring. I got the dvd movie.. no difference watchin it high or not.. a couple good songs. 1st time I seen it I was 6 and I seen the kids go through the grinder.. scared the fuck out of me I use to cry each time I heard another brick in the wall upto gr 5.

but yea I watched it twice on shrooms..

once I laughed my fuckin ass off at goodbye blue skies

2nd time I did shrooms I watched it again.. well me and my buddy didn't really pay attention to it. just each song set our trip differently quite cool..

movie isn't sad thoa. well to me

Yeah - I was hooked on it at 16 - they have some powerful symbology but somebody pointed out to me the other day that all Pink Floyds lyrics etc actually finish on a positive note - don't know if thats true or not - I did however find myself lining up alot of broken shit on the floor once in little lines - I was a gullible fool then..

I have watched this movie so many times on various psychedlic substances. There was a time in my life where I was consumed by this movie and album.

I couldn't pick a favorite Pink Floyd album, but I don't think you understand the parallels of our world the movie presented. The wall (the actual wall itself) has at least two meanings. One is a symbol of the Berlin wall, and the other was the wall that Pink built between him and everyone else. Pink was a composite of Roger Waters and to a much bigger degree, Syd Barrett.

Yeah - and it questioned the whole rock star band thing as being like a dictatorship - having a whole bunch of people looking up to you

Yeah man, it shows the irony of going from a rockstar into an authority figure, the exact opposite from what he used to be.
