I have always heard the rough details of what he did, and how he did it. Last night though I caught a documentary of his "career" on A&E. I was so disturbed that I was forced to watch Nickelodeon for a hour. What could possibly possess somebody to do what he did?
I heard his account in his own words too, had to cringe and then turn the channel, that guy is a freak in all of the worst ways, a church goer, boy scout leaer, and sadistic murderer.
The worst of the worst are folks who take the effort to cultivate respectable, clean images... and no one ever suspects them of being the people they turn out to be.
I mean its not to surprising he was a church goer or a well respected member of the community thats usually how it is. But he is a sick freak!!!!!!!!!
I was a single woman, living in Wichita during part of his reign of terror...believe me, I kept my door locked at all times (lived alone), and never let anyone into my apartment that I didn't know. I was so happy to get out of that city, partially because of that, and partially because of other stuff going on... But that was totally unreal...lots and lots of women were really scared...
yeah I saw the documentary on the btk strangler. he was one fucked up dude. never did anything with the bodies, but he would masturbate while watching someone choking to death........ that is fucked up, and he was an outstanding member in the society.
