When I say, "This just isn't working out. You and I want totally different things. I'm sure you can find someone else that you'll be happy with. Why don't you do that?" he thinks I mean, "Let's get married. Call me more often. I can't live without you." I don't know how I could possibly be more blunt. Even when I piss him off, he just writes me long letters then. If he doesn't hear from me, he evenyually calls my mom, who thinks he's just so great. For that reason, I'm not sure that changing my phone number would help. What the fuck do you say to someone like this?
say nothing. stop communication. actions definitly speak louder than words, and girl, you need to be screamin. good luck with everything.
Go find a rebound for a while to give him the message, or maybe enlist a close friend who you can fake a new relationship with infront of this fella.... if he doesnt back off after you've asked him too, get a restraining order.
follow the above two posters advice, but most especially this one! If he can't take no for an answer, it's time to involve the cops... you really don't want this getting out of control
