now this is realy stupid question but ive been wondering and have yet to find a good answer. i am a guy allso my hobby is muay tahi (thai boxing) so i get hit on my head and ears so wearing piercings while training is an absolute no-no id like to get 3-6 large "pirate like" rings on me both ears 1-2mm probably. so since theyr quite big is it okay for me to take them off when i go to the gym and put em back in when i get home. hwo about sleeping with them? now i know these are realy stupid questions..

not stupid questions at all. gotta start somewhere right?

yes, you definitely can take out the piercings to be at training, once theyre healed. after piercing they should be healed in about 2-4 weeks. but even after theyre healed, i would recomend sleeping with them in. at least til theyve been healed for awhile. but once you get pierced you'll have to keep them in 24/7 until theyre healed.

Right. So long as they're healed, you can go as long as you want without them. I wore my earrings for the first time in about a year the other day.

I'd ask your piercer what s/he thinks, they usually have a pretty good idea of how long you can spend with a piercing out. I know I get kind of antsy about putting flared flesh tunnels in, 'cause I'm never sure if it's quite healed enough.
