Does anybody know anything about Keele University? I might be planning on transferring there, and I'd like to get any information I could. Thanks!
i got a prospectus from there from the website, but i am not sure what it is, try it on a search thingy I went there the other week to see a band play and it was awesome, so it must be good! Its not near Keele city/town though, its a bus ride away from the town itself, but thats good if you dont want to blow all your money at once i guess! Good luck! x
Keele Uni is good for science an stuff, has lovely surroundings and is great to visit. Its also isolated from everywhere else and has the air of a big, inbred village, making it a bit creepy to spend to much time there! Go visit it and see what you think, most people love it and neve want to leave.
Thanx...everyone for writing back..It's either Keele or Leicester University and by looking at the two Keele just seemed really college-town , and it was the less expensive of the two so hopefully I will be there in 07...if I don't get too "inbred village" creeped out....
i know a few people in leicester, not such a bad place....although compared to keele i wouldn't know. actually....i think i know one person at keele....where is it?
Keele is three miles west of the city of Stoke-on-Trent, I wouldn't mind going to either school but I'm paying to go out of my pocket so i'll take the cheaper one..I'm sure i'LL HAVE A GREAT TIME regardless
I used to go to Keele from 98-2001 It was a f*cking awesome experience. Truly incredible. Its changed a lot since then (doesn't everything?) but we had the most amazing time - woods parties, fantastic community feeling, adventures and mystery. Not that much work mind you! Its the greenest (as in most green spaces) campus in Europe with 260 acres of forest on site. Theres an old stately home and some magnificent trees. You'd be a fool not to go. Stoke on Trent is a dive, though, still, I met my wife there so can't say too much! The only shame is all the building they are doing and the university authority's insistence on destroying anything green and beautiful or uniquely interesting - there intention seems to be to make Keele mediocre. Still, you would be crazy not to go - underground tunnels, woods parties, Alestair Crowley, ancient magick and so so so much more. Still, most people never even know about these things....
