Pretty Peeved

    On the 17th of March there was a protest/march for Aboriginal Rights, Troops Out of Iraq and Muslims are welcome.
    a few thousand people attended.. it was peaceful yet we got a point across to the commuters of melbourne and tourists here for the games.

    The reason im peeved is our local news, or papers did not acknowledge it..
    like no-one except for the people who were in the CBD know about it even happening.

    I don;t know i just found it weird how it was all sort of shut out... i;m happy nether the less, the banner and signs me n my mates made got alotta looks..

    I think its probably going to be a national pride thing whilst the games are on.

    The press won't want to show any negative activity in Melbourne whilst the games are on so that they can portray the fact that they can run a major event without any problems arising.
