I walked into my favorite Lowe's Home Improvement yesterday at lunch and was greeted by a cashier that I've had casual conversation with in the past. She said "Hi, Barefoot. Kinda cold out today isn't it?" Although I wasn't BF at the time, I was wearing my Tevas. She's a barefooter too, but kinda shy to do so in public.
I like that nickname, however, in future if all ppl getting this nickname then we cant distinguish from one another, jk.
HA HA! That's funny! I've had a few "foot" nicknames of my own over the years...littlefoot, tiny feet, tiny feeted guy, blah!blah!blah!...(definite theme here )....meh! you get the idea! Anyway, a grain of salt and a sense of humor goes a long way, don't it?
I had that nickname (or rather, the German counterpart of it: "Barfuß") given to me in our somewhat regular fantasy/SF role-playing game group when we had three guys with the same first name... one guy was called by his first name, the other by his last name and- for obvious reasons - I was called "der Barfuß". And that nickname sticks to me in that group since then. Even though the other two guys have dropped out of attending, I'm still called "der Barfuß" wiggling toes, rolling 1D20 for a save roll against foot damage, ~*Ganesha*~
