Not very far. I don't trust easily. I'm a warm hearted and loving person, but trust is not something I dish out too often.

Heheheh, that's almost how I am really. Love all, yet trust none (well, maybe not none, but very few). There are a choice few that I trust, and even them...well, let's just say I tend to be wary of trusting. Sort of a self protection thing. What can I say, I've been burnt a lot.

 

I think trusting no one is going a little too far, and would indicate a personal problem. I actually trust a lot of people, maybe too many, but haven't been fucked over too often.

 

Seamonster, you're correct, and I do tend to have a problem. I know what it stems from...seeing my mother abused over and over again through various relationships with men after she divorced my father. That in addition to the backstabbing of many so-called friends that I've had in the past, has jaded me and left it difficult for me to let down my guard and place much trust in others. When you get hurt over and over again, you kind of close off and have a lot of doubts when it comes to putting your trust in people.

 

Wow, I am far too trusting. So I am gonna angle this question differently, and say that if my strength was based on my trust, I would be superwoman.
