Ever since my Naturopath told me not to eat any more white bread about 2 years ago, I haven't touched it. I always eat whole wheat.
So yesterday I bought a loaf of white bread from around the corner. I ate two sandwiches during the day... after the second one I got this terrible headache... It wouldn't go away... The wierd thing is my hubbi, who ate the same as me, felt the same pain. the only thing different in my day was the bread.
so what I want to know is if the white bread caused this pain?
i know maybe it sounds wierd but i cant think of any other cause for the headache

yeah, your body wasn't numb to the refined pure starches in the white bread so it reacted with pain.

Why did you buy white bread in the first place, after 2 years without?

Of course whole wheat is healthier than refined white bread. But a couple of pieces shouldn't have made you sick, unless you are gluten intolerant or allergic to wheat. And in that case, you wouldn't be able to eat the whole wheat, either.

Many times the weather and the barometer can effect headaches. Sometimes my dds and I get headaches on the same day, even when we haven't eaten the same things. It is almost always because of low or high barometer, or other weather anomolies, or we have been exposed to cigarrette smoke.

Not sure, I haven't eaten white bread in about 6 years, but I doubt that would be what caused the discomfort. The headache could have been brought on by anything from hormone fluctuation to environment.

well i saw the news the day after my headache and they were talking about a combination of dust that comes from the Sahara and ashes from some volcano from one of the islands near by and stays in our atmosphere. that would also explain the alergies i had latter that day... it happens alot here but i guess it was pretty bad to give me such a pain...

as far as why i ate white bread... well here we have a kind of sandwich that is "criollo" (typical)... I just wanted to make a vegan version of it... I was going to by a loaf of whole wheat but it had eggs in it.

if it was the bread or the dust well i cant be sure but i won't take the chance the next time... i hate pains... who doesn't?

Sometimes you don't get to the reason for a headache, too. They suck, headaches.

I hope you are feeling better.
