So i hear the high lasts 4-6 hours probably depending on how much you take? Does the level of the high last the entire time or will you have waves like ecstasy? will i be able to walk, smoke, drink etc while high?
trippin? no need to drink. i smoke a little more when i'm dosed. if it's good acid (not weak) it could take 30 minutes to an hour to come on. the "high" builds til about the middle of your trip (after 3-5 hours) at which point everything becomes more intense(you peak) for a while. after you peak, u still got a few hours of visuals and body buzz. several of my trip have lasted 9 to 12 hours SOLID, but they were always good experiences in good company in the proper atmosphere. thinking about tripping? i like to have a trip buddy. a good friend who i know won't annoy me in any way, and has a positive personality. my buddy mike and i dosed on my birthday in december and went camping (in a cabin). good times. lots of guitar and giggling.
Depends on how much you take - usually about 8-12 hours. My first time was a really shitty hit, and the whole experience lastsed about 6 hours. The three times I've tripped, I was able to do pretty much anything you would want to, though I didn't drink cuz I didn't feel it would be a good idea. My buddy did though, and aside from not knowing what was real, he was fine. There's a period of coming up, then a peak where you stay for any length of time depending on a few factors, and then a come down. Some people might describe having waves, though I don't think I did. Actually, come to think of it, the last time was kind of in waves, two very distinct waves. We tripped for a while, and then thought we were sober, then it came back and slammed us for the most intense part.
yep ... it can come in waves - but it's never gone like ecstacy ... when the wave roles back your still in the open ocean. and don't bother drinkin alcohol. then you will kill the acid magic ... so it's in my opinion ... but i don't drink at all ... also you won't get drunk on acid - so it seems. no don't drink man - alcohol and acid or two opposites ... acid kills the ego - alcohol makes it only bigger. stay in magic land
I wouldn't say you can't get drunk when you're dosed on acid. My friend certainly did, though it was a bit different, from what he described, than a normal drunk experience. He's had quite a hard time describing what was going on, aside from "I can't tell what's real." This was a funny story (at least to me)... We were tripping... in my dorm room, in his dorm room, outside of the dorm with the other kids who were about to dose, at our friends apartment, at the cemetery (the other group of kids wanted to go there, and I happened to see them walking to the cemetery...in the wrong direction. It was really out of my control, I decided to lead them there cuz they were obviously lost). Someone found a spare tire (just the tire) and rolled it across the group as we were walking, we got tangled up in another group and when they started walkin away, a few of us were like "wait, no, we're not goin to the food court!" only to have those kids turn and look at us like we were crazy. On the walk back from the cemetery, my friend and I were feelin sober so we started calling our buddies so that we could get a ride back to the apartment (again, for the third time that day) for the party that night. As SOON as we walked in the door to my dorm, we were slammed with another wave. We turned on Pulp Fiction, and my friend found a bunch of beer in the fridge (like, 18 or so). This was the "perfect beer" stage cuz that beer tasted damn fine. Frosty vision from drinking...I didn't really feel like drinkin that much, but my buddy kept downing them. Solid patterns in the carpet (images of flowers, fractals, etc) before we left to go to the party, where things got way more interesting, at least for my buddy. We got there and it was still gonna be like an hour and a half before people started showing up, so what else was there to do but pregame the party? I didn't drink that much, but my friend kept throwin em back. A while after everyone had been there, he left to go down the way to another apartment of some friends of ours, where he had a few shots of Everclear. Then back to our party for more "perfect beer." By the time people started leaving, this guy was obviously not havin that great a time. He looked at a DMB poster on the wall in our friends room, and asked us "is that real?" Me, knowin what was goin on, said "which part can't you tell is real or not?" He saw the sky in the background of the poster, and couldn't tell if it was actually the sky, or if it was just a picture and couldn't tell if the colors in it were actually there or if he was just making them up. Our friend was tryin to tell us about the problems he was havin with one of his roommates, but my buddy who was trippin just could not follow along. At all. A little while later, when my dude finally decided to go to bed in the futon thats on the upstairs landing, he wanted me to turn on a drumming DVD that featured a really cool drummer with his band called Nerv, I think. He was like "JoJo...make him... ... make sound come out of the ...tv..with the playstation.... ...drums." Luckily I knew was he was talkin about, cuz we had watched it earlier while we were comin down. Bottom line, yes you can get drunk while trippin, but it won't necessarily be pleasant. It does kill the magic though. But if you're just lookin to get fucked up, by all means...
about 8-12 hours. The duration of the effects could tend to increase after a couple of trips though. But usually after 8 hours I go to sleep, cuz I feel too insane and tired. The effects arent soemthing of interest anymore...sometimes I wake up in the morning and im still hallucinating... this you feel a bit burnt out.
Did underplay mean drink alcohol though? I was under the impression he was meaning would he be fine to drink water.
