^^^not meh, these people arent converted when they get out of prison or finish their therapy ..... they stay sick.

I dont want no diddler getting near my kids. They will be in the community, and they will re-offend.

I think sex offenders should have a choice between mandatory castration or life in prison no parole as it's an incurable illness or just a sick way of expressing power through violence. He fucked somone else's life up forever and they sure as hell should never have the opportunity to do it again.

If you would of took time to read the whole post, in ga there are several levels of sex offenders, stat rape is one level which is 16 and above.....this dude was convicted of child mol.... which ga law states as anyone under the age of 16 and the man was 50 when convicted, id like to think it isnt as bad as it seems but some things just cant be minimized.

 

You obviously are not in touch with the way the world is these days. I could go off on a rant about how little time many parents spend with their children and how unsupervised they are, how they let them watch programs in which they shouldn't just to keep them out of their hair, how they let them do whatever they want and pay no mind to it, how they let them disrespect others or curse or belittle and thinks it's "cute", which is why children are turning out the way they are. I volunteer at my oldest son's school and you should see and hear some of the things that go on. And I know darn well that it's not because of overmothering, but because of undermothering. These kids are starved for attention and love.

And the fact remains that you are probably younger than I am, with no children of your own and do not realize yet what it means to be a parent. That, and maybe you feel the need to attack my parenting style because you were deprived of attention as a child yourself.

Either way, you can't convince me that I'm doing damage to my children for caring about them.

While there obviously are some child molestors, during a the 80s I suspect a huge number were wrongly convicted, because the only evidence against was based on child testimony.

Using leading leading questioning and other techniques, I could get a child to admit that any of you had molested him.

 

I think the list is a bad idea, I mean if they served there time fully then by all means of the law thier debt to society was paid. To me adding there name to a list means double punishment for a crime. I also do not agree with letting an offender out early if they believe they may re offend. I also believe that some of the cases the "victim" should be on charges. By that I mean teenage girls who get fake id's and are in adult bars drinking get picked up then do the deed and then get remorseful about it, tell mom and dad and the guy who thought the little girl was of age is off to prison and going to be a registered offender. If your out trolling in illegal waters its you that get fined not the fish you caught.

As for the rape cases and little kid pervs well, if found guilty I think cutting off thier little buddy to curb thier desires should be mandatory.

I also think that if later the "victim" is found to have lied in thier testomy then the "victim" should go to prison and be obligated to the person who served time to repay whatever they see fit.

I have heard of 2 such cases, poor black man served 9 years for rape, lost his home, his business and his family. 9 Years after conviction the girl came forward and told that she and her boyfriend had sex and she was afraid she was prego so she blamed this landscape bus owner. After she came clean, still took court and another 6 mos to get him released.

Knowing the shit the happens to child molesters in prison can you imagine what this man went thru and for what? Man there should be serious actions taken against false reports.

and as for the original topic, sex offenders are regular people, they just have a different sex orientation. i got a few of em that live in my neighborhood, and one ive talked to a few times. he seems like a pretty down to earth guy, except he raped a chick and robbed something. i never asked him about it, but hey, if he tries to rape me or anyone i love, ill be the first to know about it and itll be the last.
