So some friends and I went out to rent a video the other night and was planning on renting gummo because we find chair wrestling and cutlery lifting to be hilarious, but apparently someone else from our hood found that shit funny too so no luck on picking it up. but, we did come across this small movie called Love Object in which i've been waiting and wanting to see in the theatre and was surprised to find it out for rental. i wonder if it went straight to video... anyway it's basically about this guy who works for a publishing company that published instructional guides who decides to purchase a sex doll like one of those "real dolls" on howard stern or realdoll.com. after some time with his doll, this boy starts getting involved with an actual woman at work and to keep it short and simple his doll is not happy with that. i thought it was an ok flick, but it's definitely one of the best movies that is out on your new releases shelf. some cool actors were in the movie like rip torn and udo kier and with how small the movie was it loads some really good thrills. if you liked the movie May and Psycho you'll like it.
soo i guess ya'll haven't seen the movie? im tellin you man it's a cool flick. yeah it's low budge but the acting is absolutely exceptional. you guys keep rambling on and on about zombie movies. im here to tell you that zombies are dead and dolls are what's hot right now. quote me, some dude will be putting up another thread about love object in the next few months. so remember im so much more cooler because i saw it first.
