Ok, this will tell you how to easily make oil, that will blow away anyone. It is made by shaking aggresively a mix of alcohol and cannabis material, for a short time, so the alcohol washes away a big part of the thc, while not picking up all the chlorophyle and sugars that make some oil sticky and a mess to handle. I'm not some kind of oil guru like the people back when overgrow was still up, but ill try to have you make it easily. Materials :-70% isopropylic alcohol. Make sure water's the only side ingredien. - A mason jar. -Coffee filter or tight screen lookalike (t shirt fabric or sometn) - Cannabis buds or leaves. -A plate - A heat source For the cannabis material..in my experience, leaves give out 5-10 percent of their weight in oil, depending on their level of crystalization. Bud always gave me more than 15 percent. Went to 25% once. 1.Put your material in a mason jar (2-3 grams of bud is a good first go with 75ml alcohol), and add 70% isopropylic alcohol, until your whole material is covered, then shake like a madman , for not more than 90 seconds! (anyways youll adjust the time of shaking from your results) 2.Then you filter the solution through the coffee filter or t shirt or whatever fine screen, so it drops on the plate, or it so it drops in another jar. This way you can just put the coffee filter around the lid of the jar, you dont have to have someone to hold it for you. 3. While step 2 ,Try to catch the herb in your hand or a kitchen sieve (what I use) when you pour the solution out of the jar. Squeeze everything out of it. Herb blocks the cofee filter and itll take a long time if you get alot in there. 4.Then let evaporate the plate in air (very long), or use your mind to find a heat source which will facilitate evap! I put the plate over a pan of boiling water. Be careful, iso alcohol is very volatile, dont breath it, open the fan over your stove and a window ! Then when theres no more liquid, take the plate, put it under a fan for an hour or so, cuz while using boiling water, it will always condense on the plate and it will never be dry. A golden or reddish film should result. 5.Scrape the thin film and put into a ball. You will be very interested by the results, i swear! People will call it hash though, it looks more like it, and its easy to handle, doesnt stick. Important things : * Do not overheat the mixture when evaporating! This ruins the product! You should see clouds of alcohol elevating from the plate, but not too much. *Dry it well, it is crucial. Wait until on the plate is a hard crust that doesnt stick or look wet in any way. feel free to ask questions if its not clear I will post pics next time I make some...
this is the method i was taught but ive been dry for a long time so i havent been ablle to try it a good little silk screen can be made like this what youll need 1. one big soda bottle 2. one wife beater 3. duck tape (hell yah) cut the bottom of the bottle about 4" from the bottom cut out a large slice out of the wife beater and stretch over thee top of the bottom of the bottle duck tape so it stays stretched. now just catch the alcohol in the container -rydns
I dont know if I missed it but you should of added "ISO alcahol is flammable, do not use a gas stove,well ventilation is important, If you do not have an electrical stove slow dry or buying a hot plate is nessisary".

I work in a coffeeshop so I know that coffe filters will trap some oils in coffee. Could it do the same with cannabis?
I'd say if you're worried about the filter holding the dope, just minimize the contact surface. Just pour it out really slowly, and make sure as little of the filter is absorbing the oil.
I'd rather stick to something that doesn't involve the use of solvents/ a little bit more organic, bubble/ice or dry sift is the only way to go IMO, would never touch any type of oil.
I like hash but it does not yield me enough so I can have a substantial stash. Ive only made bubble a few times, but from what I have seen, 20 grams of buds will give me like 2.5 of bubble, when bho with a bit of luck I cant get 3 grams out of the same quantity of bud. Im very careful bout doin everything to remove the butane too. Bho is like 2x as potent, its enough to seduce me Bubble in my case always lost lots of its smell and taste in the water, compared to tasty dry sift. The best is rubbed hash I find. You can use longjohns with semi wet trim. It can give you shit that smells miles away even before you smoke it and bubbles when you heat it. I have only seen a friend do it though. This Iso Alc. oil , maybe there are still particles of it in it, but I think it is still healthier than smokin buds , its a much purer product if you do it right. It sure doesnt smell or taste as good though. I would make more hash If i could find a way to press a good quantity of dry sift kief without a press or soemtn...I always end up with something you wanna take a piece the whole thing fall apart.
A door hinge or some other type of heavy hinge and a couple of 2x4's work great! I refined my ice water extraction method to include a strain threw a fish scooper net from an aquarium to remove all the vegative mater fallowed by a frinal strain threw one of them permanent coffee filters that ya dont throw away. This leaves me with the final liquid that I syphon off and dry&press. I havnt used my door hinge press lately tho bein that my product usually scrapes out of my dryin pan in an easily presable trichome powder. I usually scrape it while its still slightly moist.
haha yes lumpy, door hinge with a vice grip works great. Hey fruity: all you need is your hands a rolling paper and a lighter and you can press balls real quick and they come out good. Take an alright amount of kif, put it in the rolling paper, preferably a 1.5 so you can press it a lot, and roll it like you're trying to roll the tightest joint ever rolled. Every like turn heat it up from underneath with the lighter let it get nice and mushy then roll it quickly up another turn really really hard let it cool and keep doing that til you got the whole thing rolled, then unrtavel the paper from the hash... You'll end up with a nice stick if you do it right that you can smush into a ball, or if you heat it a real lot, it gets gummy like some kind of caramel.
