Hey, sorry it took so long for me to respond, i don't visit this forum as often as i should.

Yes, there's farmland in the Powassan area about 15-20 minutes south of North Bay, and there are a couple of local bars in NB that feature a fair amount of Blues (100 George's and Cecil's Beer Society). There is also a 3 day Blues festival every August at 100 George's.

^ Except Barrie is a right-wing commuter town full of bad planning, big box stores and other forms of suburban sprawl.

Prot perry... theres houses you can buy on Indian Land. I don't know how exspencive they are, but my anut has one and its absolutly beautiful. Or you could go to Hockly its near Orangeville.... Its pretty ruial. Its nice place, my moms friend lives up there, and all the people I met from hockly seem to be really down to earth. Or even halaberton my anut hada cottage up there it was pretty nice...very small town like.

Im no realestate agent but those are just some ideads of the top of my head. Good luck on your search for a house.
