I was just wondering. When a product has NOT been labled " not tested on animals ", more likely than not does that mean they do animal testing?

I always write the company or only buy non tested on products. Companies who don't test on animals are usually knowledgeable that their consumers would care about such things. If it is a megacorp like Johnson and Johnson, then yes they test on animals. Itis impossible to tell. Many companies have a quick email thing you can send with questions.

Things to look out for- "This finished product was not tested on animals". Bath and Body works tries to pull that stuff. That means that out of the 100 ingredients, all 100 could have separately been burned onto an animal's skin, rubbed in ther eyes, etc. anything they want. It just means that those chemicals/ingredients, when put together right before being bottled, weren't tested on animals.
