It has been speculated that all aging is due to molecular breakdown caused by chemical imbalances and toxins taken into the body, and that with the ideal diet a person could theoretically live forever. Noone knows what this ideal diet would be for humans, but according to one researcher a certain species of Myna Bird contains exactly the right balance of nutrients to keep Porpoises alive indefinitely with no signs of aging. Had he been allowed to continue with his research, these sea mammals may well have proved to be immortal. Unfortunately, his experiment was interupted in the following way: Having run out of Myna Birds (perhaps the porpoises were unusually hungry that day) he had to make a quick trip across town to the pet store. Now at that time he was doing research on a number of animals, not just porpoises, and one of them was a tame Lion, who had somehow escaped from his cage and met him at the laboratory entrance. "Lie down!" he shouted, then "Stay!" and the Lion obligingly lowered himself to his knees and forepaws and remained there contentedly. The Lion was still there, calm, serene and staid, when he returned with the Myna Birds. As he proceeded to gingerly step over the creature he was immediately arrested by the Police and taken to trial. The charge?....
