camping in/near athens, GA

    Does anyone know any campsites in or around athens georgia...im thinking about heading there for a little while.

    not in athens Georgia but the Blueridge area of Georgia has some beautiful camping sites.... In the way noth of Georgia the Appy trails start which are some of the most amazing sites I have ever stayed on..

    There's tons of awesome camping all along the Appalachian Trail in GA/NC/TN/VA.

    all north Ga, Tn and nc have awesome places to camp ... but the best is my own back yard ..;)
