Every morning 2 of them land right on the top of my roof and start quacking away. It's loud, obnoxious and most of all it's too early. They cut my sleeping short about an hour each day. If it continues, I am afraid I may shoot them. Wifey suggested throwing bread out there, but then I said they'll think that every day and will for sure be back. What can I do to not have them on my roof waking the house up?

shooting them would be nothing less than cruel and ignorant....i cant believe that is even an option for some people!!!

maybe fire your gun -but NOT near the geese- and the sound will scare them off and they wont come back. throwing bread will only get them to hang around.

Don't shoot an animal just because it is an inconvenience. That's absurd. You can't go shooting everyone who pisses you off. If we all did that, the world would be out of people!(not such a bad thing for the planet. but still.......)

depending on where you live, and the type of goose, it might actually be illegal for you to kill them.
