If you or someone you know is an American living abroad, spread this information! Register to vote absentee in the upcoming presidential election

there was a good article on yahoo about expatriate absentee voter registration here: http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=sto...esgetoutthevote

Go here:www.overseasvote2004.com to get the voter registration form online for certain states, more added daily. Or contact your area's Democrats Abroad or Republicans abroad
Get registration information on their websites; you dont have to be affiliated w/ either party to use thier forms:
    www.democratsabroad.org
http://www.republicansabroad.com/states.html (this page seems easier to navigate)

In this close election, do what you can to be counted! --no matter how long you've been abroad-- happy travels!

The populations in all the countries, that are influenced by US foreign politics somehow, should have the right to vote for the US president election.

What would the odds be for Bush against Kerry, then?

If Kerry win, I'll party for 10 days, but not because he win - rather because I wanna see Bush lose. I don't think Kerry will bring a revolution with him, but anything is better than Bush's regime. Anything - for the whole worlds sake.

As one person said once on TV:

There are two main parties in the USA, Democrats that are a right-handed party; and Republicans that are directly fascists.
I was laughing at least for an hour when I heared it, but after that, when you think about it, it's so sad. They are alll the same fucking shit and you realize that nothing is gonna change. sad, terribly sad.

The democratic party consists of many political fractions. I don't think that the american population is just as apathic, as we usually think here in Europe.
But the voting-system is very hierarchical, so it always ends up with "Republicans vs. Democrats" every election.

Americans that I've been spoken to, says that the european idea about american politics (left vs. right) is too naive and one-dimensional:
Democrats can be either liberal or conservative.
Republicans can be either liberal or conservative.

It's a two-dimensional scheme, in other words; and right now the american government is far down right.
    Time for a change, definately.

    love and understanding,
    wolf. :)
