All through juniour high all i heard from the teachers was "you wont likely be hanging out with the same people when you in grade 12 as you are now" i always said... "yeah right, me and my friends are too close" but now I dont hang out out with barely any of the same people.... My very best friend ever since i was 5 years old hasnt talked to me in over a week... he quit our band took all his stuff from my house and only calls me to borrow stuff... he never even looks my way at school... Ever since he got his new girlfriend he let her run his life.. he hasnt talked to anyone but his girlfriend for months* *not exaggeration... and shes all wrong for him to... plus i think shes bi-polar she cheated on him several times and when he found out he got upset (which is completely reasonable) and she slapped him... she told him if she cheats on him that he still has no right to get mad... he is now a complete pushover and has no free will.... it's very upsetting... plus she hates me and tells him and the principal that i bully her but i dont even look at her... she sickens me that much... i cant believe how ungrateful she is... i took her into my home last year when she had no place to go but had no choice but to kick her out because she decided it was her house and tried to run my family's life.... so now Im getting phone calls from him yelling at me for throwing shit at her in class which i never did ... and im getting called to the office because im "starting rumours about her" and shes completely ruining our lives.... the worst part is i know when he dumps her eventuallly he's gonna look back and say "i wasted 2 years of my teenage life... 2 years i cant get back, I've lost so many friends and it's gonna be nearly impossible to be reaccepted" (assuming they dont last much longer, but by the looks of it... shes not letting him out any time soon) but i am gonna be there for him when it's all over... i hope he'll let me be his friend again... P.S. i just re-read this and i realise its hell to read what with the grammer and all but im leaving my computar because if i dont stnad up soon... im going to forget how to walk
That really sucks, man. Something similar happened to me last year with my best friend. I don't talk to her anymore. She's an emo, and I'm a hippy, at it started with her hanging out with her pretentious friends, and me getting high with my nice friends, and her ending up ratting me out for that...I haven't been her friend since...

yeah well... this guy is intimidating... and since he has no say with his girlfriend.. he'll go on a powertrip against all his ex friends.... one time his friend (who happens to be a girl) was cutting accross his yard. and his girlfriend saw her in his yard and got mad that she was in his yard and so he ran out and told her to fuck off i guess...pretty sad when you are mean to people just because yer bf/gf doesnt like them.... I say judge everyone through your own personal experiences with them alone...
ah. thee only friends i still have from junior year...not many. of course this is after three years. i still have someee from that year. but people change. their priorities are fogged. and well. i donno. see me and mamma dont see much of each other cause we dont go to school together but when we had sig others we made time for each other and other friends...i strongly dislike when a friend abandons you for the opp sex. one person did that to me. and i dont talk to them anymore. even after they had broken up...since they came running back. why!

Ahha, spooner Anywho, I didn't hang out with most of my friends from Jr. High, but thats cause I wasn't really that good of friends with them. The group I started hanging out with in high school had all stayed friends from Jr High (and some from elementary school). The one friend that I still keep in close touch with from Jr High has been my best friend for ages though. his dad and my dad taught together way back.. Anywho, side story: in grade 5, my best friend since grade 1 suddenly stopped being my friend. This really sucked because she was basically the only person I ever did things with. Yeah, I cried myself to sleep many nights because I didn't have any friends to do things with (even though I stil did things occasionally with my afformentiond "best friend for ages"). But then I started doing things with him and it was all good. Oh, the person who stopped being my friend said sh always felt terrible for doing that to me, but I forgave her and in high school every not and then we'd hang out for a bit at lunch...The moral, don't have one friend who you do everyhting with...
My closest set of friends has changed, but I do still talk with some of them. Ok, mostly just three of them, but... c'est bon. I should try to reconnect with folks from the start of high school
What age are you in junoir school? Here in Ireland we just have 2schools, primary (4-11) and secondary (11-18) I need my best friend, I have a handful of friends who I'm really close to and loads I'd just hang around with, but my best friend I've known all my life. she's a year older than me so we arn't in the same class. We went to primary school together and we were really close, but we went to different secondary schools. I spent loads of time on my own with my guitar, but I spend loads of time with my best friend too. I have like a group of people who I hang around with and shes not one of them, but we spend ages together. i fall out with mates all the time over boyfriends and girlfriends, and loads of stupid things. Basially all I'm saying is i need my best friend and I need to know thatnothing ever has and proably ever will come between us.
I really hope this works out for you.... no one should ever have to abandon their friends and entire life for a significant other.... they should just balance the two... did i mention he's obviously not happy?
thanks your the first person to say that... i use that as my philosophy and everytime i say that people shoot it down.... mostly cause they cant stand people other than them making good observations... You see alot of people are too afraid to talk to other people because of what their mates say about them... and that sucks... example: when i first came to high school everyone said things like "dont talk to them, their nerds" or "losers," etc. and there was a couple of people that everyone said not to hang out with cause they were "losers" so i was curious as to whether or not they were, so i hung out with them for a while... They were nice people... a little dorky.... like i mean they are anime'/star trek fans but i have no problem with that... I dont hang out with them much because i hung out with them for a while and we didnt really clique... but at least i gave it a shot... go into every new conversation unbiased!
