Just finished reading Goldie Hawn's new autobiography - A Lotus Grows in the Mud - and it's a fantastic read!

For anyone who enjoys biographies you will love this honest account of her life, all the good and bad stuff, without getting rude or being mean about any of the real jerks she has come up against. I really admire her and her career, and especially the great relationships she seems to have with both her family and her partner, Kurt Russell.

A funny, sad, deep and fascinating look at her life - highly recommended for fans and everyone else too!

Gah! I need to get that book! Goldie freakin rocks! Our neighbor behind us is a cousin of Goldie's and when I was a wee little thing, they had a family reunion and she came over to our house to see our kittens. I was far too young to remember, but my dad always told me that she liked the color of my hair, lol. Needless to say, I became a Goldie fan at a young age.

Hello. As much as I enjoy Goldie, I found her Biography boring. I was really disappointed because I think she is such an interesting person adn I thought this bio would be a real insight into her life. I couldn't stop yawning and wondering when it would end.

I've seen Private Benjamin and thought she was funny, cute and lovable.
I guess she would have to be quite a strong, shrewd woman to make it in Hollywood. Sounds like a good read x
