to actually hear some good music still being made.... David Gilmour's On An Island is an awesome CD.. so far.. havent listened to the whole thing yet... definately worth the download.. and definately worth the $... check it out... another great CD to add to your smokin pleasure
^^^most of the disc really reminds me alot of what pink floyd used to churn out, plus there's some badass guitar solos. this is supposed to be his first solo ablum in 20 some odd years, i think it's a hit.
i havent listened to on an island yet but i'd expect it'd be good are there any developments with the rest of the bandmembers as far as solo projects or even group i know nick mason was putting out his book inside out i think it was called but thats all i know
I heard the album was really good. According to Rolling Stone, all 4 Floyd members will be touring, although sadly, on two seperate tours. I forget who, but I think it's Roger and Nick, and then David and whatshisface. They have rival tours, but both should play a lot of Floyd stuff. Eric Clapton will also be touring, with Devon Trucks from the Allman Brothers helping out.
