I know you guys have all thought about it. If you could pick out an all star line up of musicians (alive) to absolutely jam out at a concert who would you pick?

My band would probably consist of Trey (guitar/vocals), Fish (Drums/percussion/vacuum), Victor Wooten (Bass), and Medeski (keyboards). I would also want Matisyahu to come out and do some vocals and Kang for alot of Mandolin/Violin action and Sonny to play a little percussion. Karl Denson to add a little brass to a few songs. Yes!

oh yeah you dont have to limit yourselves to only jam band musicians.

Guitar- Derek Trucks (Allman Bros., Derek Trucks Band)

Pedal Steel- Robert Randolph (and the Family Band)

Bass- Oteil (Allman Bros., various Jazz and Fusion combos)

Drums- Carter Beauford (i dont care of anybody hates dmb because beauford is sick as hell)

    Percussion- Michael Travis (SCI)

    Keys- Medeski

Tenor Sax- Sonny Rollins (not that he is a jam band-er but it would be sick to have him tear it up on simple vamps, and he is still alive)

I decided I needed to add a rythem guitar, a fiddleand a banjo.

    on Rythem guitar:Al Schnier
    On fiddle: Michael Kang
    On Banjo: Bella Flek

So basically it would be bella fleck and the flecktones with SCI and Phish
