....jsut got back and it was amazing. i love the egyptian hospitality, i had so much tea last week.

i spent the most wonderful night with the bedouin people on a camel ride and a meal with some fantastic bedouin tea ( habuk) which made me extreamly giggly, one of the young men made a whole pot of it jsut for me while i did his portrait in the candle light.

i climbed mount sinai which took almost forever which was an amazing spiritual experience.
although its a place of pilgrimage for many religions i never went there for that purpose, i jsut wanted to paint on top of the mountain becasue it was one of my dreams! i made friends with a wonderful muslim girl called fatma. we shared alot about our lives etc and lessons we have learnt with our faith-and it was great to journey with her-we even prayed together when we reached the top and declared that we would both live big lives and not be discouraged by people.

i was very sad to go, on my last day i saw the bedouin again and hadf a fun fun day getting as many people to sing my song (some of the locals sang a song with my name in it)

was great al the shop keepers came out with drums and tambourines and we all sang in the streets!
    :)

i have such good memories of there!
    :)
i will show pictures soon i hope
