hey everyone. I have a question. i bought a digital camera, and it doubles as a webcam. i dont use webcam often, maybe twice. The problem is, I 'removed' the program and lost the software cd. Now my computer will only read it as the mass storage device, and transfer pix to and fro. on the website, it has the software download section, and it says theres nothing cuz it will connect as a mass storage device. so theres nothing i can download for this model. i looked at other models but it says the same for them, no software to d/l.

can anyone suggest somnething i can do to use it as a webcam again? when i switch the USB on the camera itself and connect it as the webcam, it doesnt even read anything on the computer as plugged in!
Please post any ideas you might have so i can look into them!

    thank you so much!!
    Love

IF the manufacturer still supports the camera,
You might be able to order another install CD
    from the Parts/Service department.
Otherwise, you may be able to use one of the
instant messenger programs to run it.
Yahoo supports a few of the older ones.
