I have been reading all these threads and I noticed alot of nonPLUR posts. What ever happened to "Why can't we be friends" and "All you need is love"? The cruelty exibited by many posts is shooting down everyones' hippie creativity and will eventually drive them to George Bush syndrom.... So why don't we all just get along? Yeaaaaaaa. Peace.
That LSD Mushroom thread is totaly loaded with negativity, people disagree over the drug subjects quite often, get pissed off, a whole lot not based on any solid research. Feelin some baaad vibes round here, we needa get a group hug goin here.
I think you've nailed one of the most obvious inconsistencies in everyday people. People talk about how good it is to be kind and loving, all while getting caught up in endless bickering about trivial things, usually in a pursuit to make themselves feel morally superior or in some way "better" than the people they are criticizing. It's something I too am guilty of, although I am trying to smash it out of my system.
PLUR!! is a rave term, its not like an outdated term, still widley used, around here at least. Im a little guilty of it as well but i try to improve whenever i can.
PLUR... ahh, i love that word. I think i'll go paint it in rainbow letters on my wall. we should all remind ourselves every day of what it means. part of it is being accepting of people who sometimes forget . so complaining about their lack of love is in itself a lack of love on your part. but you have loving intentions, so it's okay. <3 <3 <3 peace, love, unity, respect <3 <3 <3
