*sigh*. sometimes i think, that maybe me getting stoned everyday, clouds my brain and my reality. and ive been lazier than ever. sometimes i feel like i dont even know whats going ON in my life.

i mean, i really do love smoking and everything that goes along with it. i just think maybe cutting down would help me. i know there HAS to be benefits of NOt smoking? Maybe my mind will be a bit more clear, maybe ill be a bit less-lazy.

anything else? besides physical benefits(not smoking is better for your lungs, everyone knows that..). BUT, i mean like, mental/emotional benefits.

hasnt anyone stopped smoking for a while and noticed anything...positve? i didnt smoke for 2 weeks one time(not out of choice..) and of course i got all the withdrawl symptons like strange dreams, lack of appetite, depressed moods, and reality slapping me in the face.

perhaps you should go back and read all the posts you made a few months ago about how you didnt care about anything, nothin was wrong with smokin up.

if you seriously have to ask what the benefits of not smoking every day are, then perhaps weed has effected you more than youd imagine?

It takes a month of not smoking for THC to be clear from your system.

for the THC metabolites stored in your fat to be cleaned out. doesn't neccessairly mean it's still effecting you.

also you could be a fat ass, have a faster metabolism, or the bud your smoking aka amount of thc in it, plays a factor. If you work out or go to a sauna it will be cleared from your system quicker. Also, like i said if your a fatass who smokes a lot.

I think you should just live your life normally, and whenever you get stressed out or have anxiety, take a little puff to help you relax. I used to smoke a lot, and now I just wait till night time or when I go longboarding to smoke. It helps me relax and doesnt make me feel like a piece of shit walking around high everywhere I go.

When you abuse a drug, your only abusing yourself.

decreased tolerance is the obvious plus...

I generally dont smoke (at least not my own stuff) on weekdays, and when i smoke its usually at night so i never feel burned out. Also when you smoke alot during the day, you feel compelled to stay high, which depletes your stash even faster. with my smoking habits, ive managed to stretch an eigth about 3 weeks.

Well you dont always have to lounge around. you live in paradise. Smoke a bowl or two and hang out on the beach or go to North Shore and hang out. Maybe learn new things like how to surf.

    Quoted for truth.

While smoking everyday may work for some, most are not so lucky. You may notice increased lethargy, 'foggyness' of mind, loss of normal emotions, depression, anxiety, forgetfullness, ect...

If toking everyday is getting you down then why the hell are you still doing it? Quit for a while, its really not that hard.

lol why would you smoke then?

unless you mean, its easier for things to make you happy when just living your normal life? compared to smoking habitually where youre only really happy when youre stoned

I used to smoke pot all day every day. Now I don't smoke nearly as much. I can tell you that you will gain more mental calrity, you won't always be so fucking tired, and your tolerance drops considerably. I only smoke a few times a week now and it's good, I have more money and I get so stoned off of very little pot. So it's more cost effective too. Like today I took a bunch of bong hits of the best mid grade pot I've ever seen. I was so stoned I was seeing people standing in my friends room. I've never had anything like that on pot. Anyway, I hope this can help you out some. Stay cool.

My advice is don't look at it as so finalistic. Changing your habits or taking a break does not mean you have to quit and never smoke again. Listen to your body and mind, if you are smoking too much slow down or take a break. It's all mental, there is no physical addiction from pot to speak of. Try this, I don't know how much you smoke, but sometimes I will wake and bake and smoke throughout the day for weeks, or months. Then I start to feel burned out and want to save money, so I smoke only from say 5 pm on. Just doing that clears the mind a lot and also drops tolerance as noted. Just make yourself go through the day sober, then get high once everything is done. Try that for awhile. If you still want to stop from there it will be much easier.

Also like cooloner said, when I stop smoking I pick up the slack on my drinking lol. Which is good I guess because I go to bars more and meet more girls.
