I just registered so I guess this is my first Poem posted! Enjoy!! Feedback is groovy!!

    Hmm 6:00am
Driving down that long stretch of road
Vw bus truckin` along as if powered by some higher authority,
That has already predetermined my route and destination

    Super hit incense, amorphously floating
Only to be sucked out by the pressureized crack,
That is created by my window begin open
    I'm Kidnapping myself

Driving until i'm content or until I run out of road
    Whichever comes first
There's a beauty in driving alone
And if I haven't figured it out yet I will by the end of this trip

Hmm 8:00am here that means 7:00am back home
Parents waking up to my room of empty closets and drawers
It's the cleanest it's ever been or ever will be
My bed neatly made as if I expected never to use it again

Just put a glaze over it wait for it to harden
Because those covers with never be turned down again
Heat rising off the Western road, 8-track player drowning out the sound of the
chug along engine; I need it fixed

My legs wanting to conform to my seat
In my Indian style mold i have made from drawn out Indian summer days,
Smoking my cigarette past the gold brand marker
Driving until I forgot, forgot where I was going

    Hmm 10:00am
I'm farther away from home than ever before
Windows down, hair a tangled mess
Smiling as i drive off into the heated cowboy sunset
