i love the brown album, and i saw primus do all of Frizzle Fry live on stage...with an encore of "Tommy the Cat" god damn it was good!

the show was crazy....it never stopped.....there were no silent parts....between songs, Larry and Les would still have loops going and they would kick into another song. during intermission they had a projector show of old cartoons and drug awareness videos, like MAD acid and Reffer Madness...it was crazy....then as the second set peaked, les and larry put on some loops and walked off stage and Tim Herb went into a crazy 15 minute drum solo that sounded like a marching band....in the middle of it Les runs out onstage with his one stringed bass the WHAMOLA and he is wearing a pig mask and he starts ripping up a disgusting bass line, it was awesome!!!!!.....then he leaves, and there is a mass amount of loops and they come back on stage to encore Tommy the Cat....it was unbelievable!

Les Claypool is the epitome of a bass player who takes it to a new level. That Oysterhead album, and all Primus, just get better every time you hear it.

a friend of mine, whom is an extrodinary bassiest, says that he gets much of his playing style from les, so after a looong time, i finally decided to check out his stuff. I love his style, great bassist...i havent heard much of primus, but i really enjoy his work in oysterhead.
