you might not say the same thing in a couple of years.. but you might. but at 15, forever seems so easy to say about anything. but nothing is forever. you will get bored and you will be depressed, its only a matter of when, how, and to what extent it effects your thoughts and actions.

getting high doesnt help me escape reality, it can just soften whatever harsh realities I might be facing

I also have to agree with stonerbill cause my cuz is getting ready to quit because he has been smoking for 4 strait years andddddd he is just tired of it. But it is always fun especially when you first start smoking. I always find smoking in moderation the best which im goign to start doing again.

Yeah im going to have to agree that doing drugs is NOT escaping reality. Doing drungs simply just gives you another point of view on life, a different way of thinking about things. I see everything as reality, so in my eyes there is no way to escape it

the harshness of reality is the way it is meant to feel. thus you are escaping the way things in reality are meant to effect you as a human being. our sobriety is not just some default state, it is the state humans have evolved or adapted to (or were designed if you believe that) which is optimum for functional living.

any temporary relief for your ego is not going to give you a better functional life in society. so it comes down to the extent to which you want to be a part of society or be apart from society. being apart from society can be appealing to some, but you cant escape the world around you, it will bite you back if you give it shit
