Why cant we?

I have been wondering about this for a while and was hoping to find out what other's opinions were. Why cant guys hit girls? I'm not saying I want to but why cant we. I think guys should be able to hit girls if the chick threw the first punch. I mean women are for all the equal rights stuff and it seems like they only want equal rights when it comes to their advantage. Now dont get me wrong, I'm all for equal rights for women, I just dont understand this issue. I was just thinkin when this big bitch was tryin to go after me earlier what would happen if her fat ass could catch up to me. Now the rules would be no fists and the girls would have to start it. Your thoughts?

 

No objection. But morally i think its wrong, I dont know. Same reason we hold doors open for women.

But of course, if some big bitch was coming for me, I wouldnt hesitate to defend myself if it came down to it.

 

I think it started because girls are normally smaller than guys and there's a disadvantage. Sort of like the 'pick on someone your own size' saying.
Honestly though, if I was a guy and some big butch girl was coming after me I'd fight back.
That's my view on it, I dunno.

 

i would never hit a girl, unless she was threatening serious bodily damage to myself/and or taking my life...

otherwise, i would try to walk away

then again, I would only hit another person hard enough to actually hurt them, if they were attacking me first

i wouldnt defend my self unless my life depended on it. because i dont think that its right. unless she was a nazi or anyother dumbass that goes a long with tthem cause shes a dumbass and nazis need beatings. but even then i would probably be busy getting my ass kicked by some fat white supremisist bastard boy friend or something

 

if i hit a guy i would EXPECT and almost WANT him to hit me back.

but it might have to do with difference in size? if a six year old hit me i wouldnt hit the six year old back. if a petite, small girl hits a huge, muscular guy- the guy prolly shouldnt punch her back.

 

I can't really think of many situations where I would need to hit a girl.

I know how to restrain most people without hurting them, and I avoid women who have explosive rage issues.

But if a girls comming at me with a weapon or is like a bodybuilder or something, fuck chivalry.

 

A guy should be able to restrain her and /or take off if the woman is violent.

 

i was thinking last night it might go back to girls being a bringer of life... they squirt out babies... so a woman could be the next person to create the future... like back to times with out medicine and such... i dont know

This situation has been taken to an extreme in modern society because of the mistreatment of women throughout the history of humanity. The equal rights revolution has brought a couple of so called "extremes" to society. People who have not had many rights in the past are getting an explosion of rights right now, yet it is swiftly setting into balance as the years pass by and less racial and sexual discrimination occurs.

 

I think hitting anyone is wrong, look at domestic violence, people still think its funny if a guys being smacked around by a female, doen't mean the guy isn't at risk of being seriously hurt or killed though.
the only good reasn is in self defense, but I think 99% of the time (unless someone huge has got you against a wall) if you've got time to throw a punch, you've got time to push the person away or better still clear the hell out

Speeds just a really stong stimulant people don't feel as much pain and are more aggresive.

It won't turn a girl into a killer.

But if it does, like I say, smack her up. Gender doesn't really matter to me if my life is in danger.

 

I think it's more or less a social taboo than anything, but my boyfriend and I are both under the understanding that if either of us so much as smacks the other, then we should expect an equal smack in return. It's only fair and the only reason why the discussion even came up in the first place was because his ex-fiancee and he got into an argument one night and she got violent and in his attempt to get her off of him, she got a bump on the head and then ended up pressing domestic abuse charges on him. That's not fair at all. Luckily, the judge dismissed the case before it even went to court, but that just brings back the question of why it's alright for girls to beat up on guys, but if guys try to defend themselves, THEY get the punishment? Keep in mind, this girl was a kick boxer and outweighed him by about 30 pounds. Doesn't seem fair at all to me.
