i killed them!! all of them. there are only two left. i'm looking after my grandparents house while their gone. my grandpa left the pump to the pond off so i plugged it back in. at the back of the filtration part there is a valve and it was left open and all the water drained out. i turned it on yesterday and today i went to feed the fish and the water was gone.
ha ha!! I am kinda lost as to where the water went to....but really on the more serious side and to answer the question at hand...... My answer is NO I have never killed anyone else's pets.
my mom killed my cactus by over-watering it. the poor thing looked like a sponge. cell walls burst, poor thing just flopped right over. you probably wouldn't consider a cactus a pet, but i was very fond of it.
I used to have a pet cactus! his name was Cacki. one of my other pets took a bite out of him... ...and now Cacki is no more. I dont think i have ever killed anyone's pet though...
well dont stop there! did it give you a rush, some sort of stimultaed sensation? kill them, kill them all!!
i can't get a break!! the chlorine in the town water is killing the remaining fish. at least the water is clearer now. right?
sorry that that happened.. something somewhat similar happened to me.. I was house sitting for my brother and his wife cause they had two dogs and a cat at the time. And I had to stay there to take care of them cause one was just a pup. And I was opening the back porch sliding door, and in the mist of it the phone rang and i just left the door open a crack and when i came back, there cat was gone, I couldnt find Koontosh anywhere..I looked and looked and then realized that the cat must have ran out. Of course i looked everywhere for her but never found her. I was scared shitless to tell my brother, and i felt horrible, so very bad. But I am so very grateful cause she came back later, but for that day, i was so scared, i felt so unbelieveably bad. I thank my lucky stars that she came back. Cause that was pure luck right there.
awww don't feel bad I'm sure that they were very very old and were going to die soon... It's alright *hugs* you will get through this... Through all the pain their might have been a little clearing...
I've killed everything that's dead but on the other had I gave life to everything that is alive... I'm an indian gift giver.
I wouldn't worry too much about killing the fish. From my experience, most people don't really care too much about their fish is what I have learned. I think, in honesty, that most people would tend to classify the fish as part of the tank, akin to the rocks, gravel, plants, caves, etc. Of course the tank is a decoration. Plus fish are cheap and die pretty readily. You can't really touch fish, that is the main thing keeping them from becoming classified as pets. Just buy some new ones. Maybe not. They might be happy to not have fish anymore! All that food you have to keep putting in there. And who likes cleaning a dirty fish tank?
well one fish is still alive. i talked to a freind and we agreed it was criminal neglegence causing death
