Topping or fimming ICE.

Can anybody help. im growing some of Nirvanas ice in soil under a 400W hps Growlux bulb. Space is very tight does ice respond well to topping or fiming or is it a strain where the bud size just reduces. Any other info on ice would be appreciated. Also got some free Durban/skunk#1 seeds of sam the skunkman are these any good, none have cracked yet where as all the ice are doing fine.

 

I dont know about that strain in particular, but my suggestion would be to try it on one plant, and see the difference. Usually, it does make the buds smaller, but it also gives more budding sites, so its really up to you. One giant bud, or a bunch of smaller, tops, which more often than not, turn out to be a little more potent because more light is absorbed by more tops, and we all know more light absorbed means denser buds.
