Two days ago, it was time for some serious shopping… I went downtown, spending HOURS strolling around. It was a sunny day, as usual in March, and, yes: It was HOT (35 C). Especially between 12:00 noon and 3 pm… An Indian bazaar – always an exciting experience, and even more if you're barefoot! Of course: The streets are dirty – very dirty! – and the tar is almost boiling. But the unique thing is: Being barefoot, I'm not feeling I'm doing something "unusual" – or even crazy! It might be different if this would be Europe but… it's INDIA! Means: I'M NOT ALONE! Not at all… SO many bare feet! If it's no problem for all those locals – why should it be a problem for me? After all: I'm living barefoot for the last 6 years! My feet are as strong as theirs… I'm able to join them, sharing the experience – the fun! – fortunately!
