A few years ago the grocery store my family always went to just didn't have anything in it. It was still open and they still let people in expect there was no food to buy. It went on like that for about two weeks, whenever we asked the employees would just shrug and say they didn't know. Then just as mysteriously as it had happened, it stopped suddenly. There was food back in the grocery store but still no one offered a reason why it had all suddenly just dissappeared. I've thought this over a few times and it might have made sense if the parishable items were gone but the canned, boxed and frozen stuff was gone too. What I always thought was really weird was that the only thing that was there the whole time was an unimaginably huge stack of toilet paper. If there wasn't any food in the grocery store then how exactly did they plan on selling toilet paper?
maybe they went really broke, so had to sell everything to the aliens but that wasnt quite enough, so they made their living off toilet paper untill they could start making money again
i work in a grocery store.. a little ma and pa place.. and sometimes we just don't get our delivery.. but we still open and sell what we got
I have another strange story.I was in montreal about 9 years ago and it was raining.I was standing in a doorway until the rain stopped. When it did stop, the sun came from out of the clouds and shone. It was a nice day etc.. I swear for 10 minutes after, people were walking around under umbrellas! No longer any rain for 10 minutes and still walking under umberellas. It was unbelievable. The thing is, on the news the night before, there was an issue of ballot cheating to do with the quebec referendum.I thing this might of had something to do with it.These people were off in they're own world.
This was a large brand mega grocery store type place. If anything I would have expected them to over order and waste monumentous amounts of food. As to the employees, I don't know why they were still there. But people kept going back because people generally assume there is food in a grocery store.
